r+k Consulting Engineers is an independent Dutch engineering consultancy with over 60 years of experience in design and feasibility studies for both onshore and offshore structures. We specialize in strength and stability analysis of (partially) buried high and low pressure pipelines.

r+k Consulting Engineers is a strictly independent Dutch engineering consultancy firm with over fifty years of experience. This experience covers a wide range of structures and feasibility studies, both onland and offshore.
Since its establishment in 1961, we developed special skills on the behaviour analysis and related strength and stability design and integrity evaluation of (partly) buried high and low pressure transmission pipelines, overland as well as offshore: high pressure pipelines in general for the oil and gas industry and low pressure pipelines for potable water transport, cooling water lines etc.
For the proper design and strength and stability analysis of the integrated pipe/soil behaviour of pipelines, we developed a special software suite, Ple4Win. This program is used frequently by others as well and it has been formally approved by Dutch authorities for pipeline building licenses; certification institutes and for instance Shell Expro UK have approved the program for use on their offshore pipelines.
Clients like to come to us because of our quality approach and analytical and imaginative power. Such power is required to solve new challenges that come in the wake with new social and technical developments.
