r+k Consulting Engineers is a strictly independent Dutch engineering consultancy firm with over sixty years of experience. This experience covers a wide range of structures and feasibility studies, both onshore and offshore.

Since its establishment in 1961, we have developed special skills in behavior analysis and related strength and stability design and integrity evaluation of (partly) buried high and low pressure transmission pipelines, overland as well as offshore: high pressure pipelines in general for the oil and gas industry and low pressure pipelines for potable water transport, cooling water lines, etc.

For the proper design and strength and stability analysis of the integrated pipe/soil behaviour of pipelines, we developed a special software suite, Ple4Win. This program is used frequently by others as well and it has been formally approved by Dutch authorities for pipeline building licenses; certification institutes and for instance Shell Expro UK have approved the program for use on their offshore pipelines.
