Download PLE

PLE is a Microsoft Windows® compatible program (see requirements below), it is available in two versions, PLE Professional and PLEedu Educational. PLE Professional is a fully-featured version for licensees only. The program can not be executed without a valid license and a hardware dongle. PLEedu Educational is a free to use, limited version of the program. It is intended to get acquainted with the program, it can not be used for actual project work.

2 Versions of our software

Education Version

This is a free to use, limited version of the program. You are welcome to download, install and use this version. If interested in what PLE is and what it can do, please use this version.

This version has the following limitations:

  • it contains only the “Core” functionality: Kernel (K), Stress (S), Stress Weighing (A), Geometrical Non-Linear (N), Graphical (G) and Visualisation (X1) modules;
  • a maximum of 50 elements;
  • printing, importing and exporting are not possible;
  • project databases created are not compatible with the professional version;
  • using or updating older versions projects is not possible.

It is available in two “flavours”: a standard Windows installation package, and a portable version.

Note: This version does not require Windows installation. It can be used by extracting the downloaded ZIP file into a new, empty directory and starting the file ‘PLEedu.exe’ there.

Professional Version

This is a version for licensees only. The program can not be executed without a hardware dongle. Please only download and install this version if you have a valid licence.
This version is fully featured, the functionality the user can actually use is determined by the license. So a change in license does not require a new download, update or installation.
