Which role is available in our team?

For our team, we are looking for a Sector Manager for the Cables & Pipelines sector.
The Sector Manager translates market developments and the sector vision into concrete plans and commercial growth.

What will you do:

  • Leading an enthusiastic sector team of project and design managers.
  • Setting sector goals and adjusting based on turnover and billing ratios.
  • Translating opportunities into concrete, strategic plans for your sector.
  • Safeguarding a healthy mix of project types, clients, and contracts.
  • Managing client accounts and developing new strategic partnerships in the market.
  • Monitoring project results financially and in terms of client satisfaction.
  • Periodically reporting sector results to the Management Team and the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinating capacity with team leaders for optimal team deployment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a driven Sector Manager with strong communication skills, technical affinity, and relevant knowledge within civil engineering, specifically the Cables and Pipelines market.
You are capable of leading the sector team of project managers and design managers. You bring an existing network within the Cables and Pipelines market and possess the ability to expand this further. You have a commercial mindset and excel at bridging the gap between client requirements and the technical solutions proposed by your technical colleagues. Additionally, you have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in the Cables and Pipelines sector as a project manager and/or design manager.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in the Cables and Pipelines market.
  • Experience working at client and management level with, for example, contractors and government bodies.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language and a good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
